Arguelles also give a classical example on when she was pregnant as a conventional representation of the society today. According to Arguelles, the material possession has held the society today in ransom. People are not able to appreciate anything without the use of money or anything material. The author argues that there is nothing material that can reward the aspects of integrity, honesty and kindness.
