Bambi (1942) is a teary story of a young deer who several times comes across devastating activity of humans. First, hunters kill his mother; later, his home forest goes up in flames. Younger audience learns several lessons on how people neglect the nature when they ‘grind their own axe.’
Over the Hedge (2006) is another story of destruction in the forms of urbanization and deforestation. The tanuki, badger-like creatures, have the ability to take any form. They use this to disrupt the distrustful works as they destroy the equipment and interact with citizens.
The Lorax (2012) is another story that sends an alarming message about deforestation. Industrialization takes the lead over the nature and the forest where a strange grumpy creature named Lorax lives. He is strict and determined about what humanity does with his home, forests, and the nature.
The Rescuers Down Under (1990) is a story related to the issue of poaching. Human activity threatens the balance and sustainability of the nature. While the story revolves around a giant golden eagle, the bigger picture of hunting certain species for money is a serious problem raised in this animated film.
