Hi everybody. For those who don’t know me, I’m Nate, Corey’s best man. It is truly an honor to be standing up here right now. When I look over, and see Corey and Theresa, I see a couple that is truly made for each other.
Corey and I first met 20 years ago, at our parents’ river cabins. As I’ve grown up, Corey has always been there right beside me. I feel privileged to have a friend like Corey, who has a good sense of humor, and is someone who can always be counted upon if they need help. And one magical night, he found someone who was just like him. A woman with a good sense of humor and with a caring spirit that shows every day when she works at her hospital to help abused children. His wonderful Theresa. They met at the Electric Cowboy, and that bar sure lived up to its name, as sparks flew.

They started dating and as their relationship grew, I saw Corey grow happier each day. His search for the perfect woman had finally ended and every time I saw him, his smile would grow when he talked about Theresa. Then one day, Corey came to me, with the biggest smile on his face because he was going to ask Theresa to marry him. I congratulated him, because I knew they were so much in love. And here we are today. Now, will everyone please rise?
Corey and Theresa, thank you so much for allowing all of us to share in your wonderful day and for allowing me to stand up here and see one of my best friends and his soul mate on the happiest day of their lives. Here’s to true love, a wonderful marriage and a lifetime of big smiles.
