Robart Library is the largest construction in the University of Toronto, Canada. The building is said to resemble a turkey or a peacock in shape as discussed by many analysts. However, Robarts Library has been refurbished in various instances giving the building a new texture of the twenty-first century with the inclusion of the advanced technology. The entrance of the building has a large space of glass which gives the structure a decent look. The ancient entrance is now in the interior spaces in the building. The library has a regular space whereby students inside the premises can access the books in the storage and have large spaces for reading. The renovations enhanced technology whereby students and visitors can access the touch-screens in the lobby area which provides information of the available free study spaces in the entire library. The library has two main entrances which are located in the north and south towers.

The exterior parts of the library resemble the use of an ancient architectural style. The use of raw materials was regarded as simple and unique as the concrete used obtained the shape of the object used and conveyed the honesty. Moreover, the look and structure of the building would resemble the color, tender, and shape of the raw materials used, which portrayed the formal shape of the building. Robarts Library is a three-acre building in the University of Toronto. The building has fourteen stories as well as other two underground floors. The outside surroundings of the building are decorated with Japanese Cherry Blossoms. Furthermore, Robarts Library interior has a large space specified for learning. The spatial setting and design stimulate quietness, which elevates a learning atmosphere. The ceiling of the building is not uniform and varies depending on the floor and room. The color of the ceiling also differs depending on the floor and the room which resembles most of the illuminations used on the floor.

The brutalist architecture design helped in understanding the heaviness and tectonic volumetric expression, which is essential in keeping a building strong for a long period.
