My name is Louis Starks and the objective of this work is writing is to relate why I want to attend the Art Institute of Las Vegas. I attended Cuyahoga Community College located in Cleveland, Ohio and earned my Associate Degree in Visual Communication & Graphic Design in May 2013. I have also earned a graphic design certificate from Cuyahoga Community College in 2012. My achievements include the Dean’s List in the fall of 2011 with a 4.0 grade point average and spring 2012 with a 3.5 grade point average. I have an overall 3.12 grade point average.
The reasons I want to attend The Art Institute of Las Vegas include first that I am moving to Las Vegas to follow my dreams and one of these is to attend The Art Institute of Las Vegas. It is my understanding that the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology, (ACCSCT) accredits the Art Institute of Las Vegas. This accreditation means that I will be enrolled in a school that will support my achievement. As well, The Art Institute of Las Vegas will assist me in learning the skills I need to pursue a career in Visual Communication and Graphic Design and that is why I desire to attend The Art Institute of Las Vegas.

I have a genuine love for the field of graphic design and enjoy making people happy with my designs. I intend to pursue a bachelor degree at The Art Institute of Las Vegas and as well, I am an excellent student and avid learner and genuinely love learning.
