To Whom it May Concern:
I am very pleased to recommend Haralambos Tsaousoglou to attend your school. This past summer, Haralambos worked as an intern for my shipping company as an intern. He worked for a total of four weeks without pay; two of them in the chartering department and two weeks in the purchasing department.
We are one of the fastest shipping companies in Greece, and as such, we look for quality employees who can meet the demands of the job. Even though he was not getting paid, Haralambos was a very hard worker during that short period of time, and impressed many of our employees with his dedication to his work. He learned on the job quickly, and became an asset to our company. It does not surprise me that he is hoping to attend an Ivy League university. He showed during the four weeks that he is willing to put out any effort in order to succeed.

During his time with the chartering department, Haralambos assisted in marketing the group’s tanker/gas fleet, which our employees do by securing cargo for open vessels and long-term contracts for afreightment. The department communicates with over 40 brokers world-wide, including in the United States and China. The purchasing department buys supplies for the ships, taking in many prices and checking the quality of the supplies before the purchases.
Haralambos was a welcome addition to our staff, and my only regret is that he has to leave us for his studies. I am sure he will do extremely well for your university and we hope he will return to us in the future.
If you have any questions or would like more information on Haralambos, feel free to contact me at the address listed above.
Thank you for your time,
